Specific Objectives
Conduct the definitions about Christian Philosophy that encompass Patristic and Scholastic and their antecedents, in order to understand the difference between Faith and Reason that within the established church, will become dogma as opposed to reasoned faith spirit, free from the theological fideism. (STS)
The Christian philosophy does not expose the core of Christian doctrine generated by the preaching of Jesus, by proclaiming the good news and the evangelical witness of the first Easter community. We need to clarify that on the philosophical level, what this doctrine has produced and what their points of contact are with classical and pagan culture (ROSSI, 1992).
Emphasize that Christian philosophy is not the synthesis of the teachings of Jesus but the constitution of the philosophical-doctrinal and ecclesiastical compound present until today in the church mentioned before. (STS)
