7. MYTHOLOGY OF THE PEOPLES – MYTH AND TRUTH

Preparation Book: The Spirit of Truth, chapter 8, Rigour

Specific Objectives

Work on the real meaning of myth as an interpretative way to achieve the psychological structure of individuals and its construction throughout the centuries. The myth as existentialist – nihilistic concept is nowadays responsible for the continuation of stratified meanings of civilization. Recognise that myth has been renewable as today it is used as an advertisement tool or subliminal language, for example by the cinema, which among others build fads and psychological dependencies.  Human beings need to be free from the meanings and to search for their own nature in essence, in spirit: “ Know the truth, and the truth will set you free” this is the true subliminal message to be worked on all the context of Spiritist Philosophy (this class is connected with “The Mythical Thought” of Spiritist Philosophy classes , from  Spiritist Philosophical Studies Project).
